By booking and attending an appointment with Oasis Reflexology, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy designed to promote relaxation and support wellbeing. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition and should not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by a qualified healthcare professional.
2. Appointments
- All appointments must be booked in advance.
- New clients will be required to complete a consultation form before their first treatment.
- Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date health information.
- Oasis Reflexology reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
3. Health and Safety
Clients must inform Oasis Reflexology of:
- Any medical conditions.
- Pregnancy.
- Recent surgery or injury.
- Changes in medication.
- Any infectious or contagious illness.
If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness, please contact Oasis Reflexology to rearrange your appointment.
4. Fees and Payment
- Payment is due at the time of treatment unless agreed otherwise.
- Payments may be made by cash, bank transfer or card payment.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Any outstanding balances must be settled before future appointments can be booked.
5. Cancellation and Missed Appointments
Oasis Reflexology operates a 24-hour cancellation policy.
- Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a charge.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the treatment fee.
- Failure to attend an appointment without notice (“no-show”) may result in 100% of the treatment fee being charged.
- Repeated late cancellations may require payment in advance for future bookings.
- Exceptions may be made in genuine emergencies at the discretion of Oasis Reflexology.
6. Late Arrival
If you arrive late for your appointment:
- Your treatment may be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.
- The full appointment fee will still be payable.
7. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Standard cancellation policies apply to appointments booked using gift vouchers.
- Lost or expired vouchers cannot be replaced or extended.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All client information is treated as strictly confidential.
Personal information is collected and stored in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
9. Liability
- Reflexology treatments are provided for relaxation and wellbeing purposes.
- Clients accept responsibility for consulting their GP or healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns.
- Oasis Reflexology shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the provision of services except where required by law.
10. Professional Standards
Oasis Reflexology maintains appropriate professional insurance and follows recognised professional and hygiene standards to ensure client safety.
11. Right to Refuse Treatment
Oasis Reflexology reserves the right to refuse treatment where:
- A client behaves inappropriately.
- A client attends under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Treatment is considered unsuitable for health or safety reasons.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Oasis Reflexology reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available upon request and on the business website.
